John Italiano – Managing Director
John is the Partner responsible for the management of each project undertaken as well as day to day operations of the business. He has been instrumental in the success of projects undertaken by the group from the beginning and is involved in all aspects of our projects, liaising with all parties to ensure project disruptions are minimized and targets are met.
John began his career in 1998 being involved in managing a family business. He helped grow the business into a successful company so that in 2001 he was able to handover management in order to take on new challenges.
Utilising his entrepreneurial spirit and the skills and experience he had developed, he approached Jim and Terry to begin First One Developments. Since then he has not looked back, capitalising on and expanding his skill base to become one of Perth’s most experienced developers.
Jim Ognenis – Director
Jim’s role within the group is to assist with the day to day operations of the business. He is responsible for the office operations and management.
Jim has an extensive career history in a vast array of industries including insurance, retail and building and construction. During this time he worked in many different positions where he became skilled in many aspects of business.
He drew on his range of experience to open Interstruct Ceilings with Terry in 2000, a successful wall and ceiling business which he continues to run along with First One Developments.
Terry Georgiadis – Director
Terry has spent 33 years in the Building and Construction industry working in a variety of roles, first as Project Manager and then as a qualified estimator.
The opening of Interstruct Ceilings provided the opportunity to capitalise on this career, where his responsibilities include liaising with Site Supervisors, Builders, Employees and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely completion of the Job.
With Interstruct Ceilings providing the lightweight construction for First One Developments’ projects Terry is able to provide a unique service understanding the project requirements from both a supplier and customer perspective.
Terry’s expertise in wall and ceiling construction including lightweight construction has given First One developments an edge over overs in the construction industry. Terry has been responsible for the supervision of over $100M in walls and ceiling contracts over his career and fitouts.

- Quest Apartments, Midland – 8-storey -136 short stay apartments
- 288 Lord St – 7-storey mixed use apartment complex comprising of 68 apartments, café and 7 retail tenancies on the ground floor.
- Empire East – 4-storey building comprising of 48 luxury apartments.
- Empire West – 4-storey building comprising of 90 luxury apartments.
Michael Snaddon – Builder
Michael is a registered builder and is jointly responsible for ensuring the proper management and supervision of any building works undertaken.
Michael has extensive industry based education ranging from the structure of a Building Degree at Curtin University through to practical, industry based training from the MBA and HIA. This has given him a widespread and balanced understanding of the construction profession.
Michael has been employed in the industry for over 15 years and has operated in many different subsections of the construction industry. This gives him a full and detailed understanding of the many facets of the construction process.
